Tough stretch right now after an exciting start to the season.
Games like the last few are going to happen where the team generates chances and doesn't finish.
Im not going to make the Stewart fight or playing a reason for the loss today.
Really thought with how TK, Giroux and Coots started with that goal that we would be in great shape but things change quickly and right now with much of the team being a black hole offensively they can't afford to fall behind. |

If this team doesn't get it's butt in gear soon I'm assuming we can kiss some prospects goodbye to trades. |

We’ve seen this before. This team is mediocre and after changing regimes multiple times, the only explanation is the core of players. It’s too early to make changes and guys like Jake are untradeable. Looks like we will be seeing the same old Flyers for a while. Long losing streaks, some winning streaks and consistent mediocrity. Wonder what Fletcher will do about it. It would be ok if they were at least entertaining, they are not. |

I mean is anyone going to want Jake? I'm assuming JVR could be moved pretty easily. I still think they should keep G at all costs. |

It’s not hard to understand. This team lacks talented depth. When you are dressing four 4th liners and 5th guy who has no business being in the NHL, you pretty much need your other forwards, your D and your goalie to be pretty close to perfect in order to win games.
The Flyers need to get some of their skilled prospects into the lineup now. FFS, they’re not made of paper mache. I don’t want to hear about the horrible risk of “rushing” these kids, it’s hogwash.
In 84-85, Zezel, Tocchet and Smith did fine without AHL time; same for Pelle Eklund in 86-87. Renberg jumped right in without AHL time, Gagne and Williams too. And more recently, Couturier and Konecny did just fine without it as well.
Stop giving away points that you cannot afford to give away and get Farabee and at least one of Frost or Rubtsov into the lineup now. |

I mean it can't hurt to get Frost or Myers up here sooner rather than later. I'm not too sure about the timeline for Frost or Ratcliffe but yeah, those kids will definitely be welcome additions. |

Nope. They know what they have in some of these guys, and they aren't going to be dealt for quick-fix vets. Also, the Flyers are tight to the cap. If they can make a hockey trade with a vet-for-a-vet (not easy to do in this day and age), maybe you'd see that. |

I just don't see Giroux as the problem and his point totals over the past years prove that.
I don't want to move Hart, Coots, TK or Provy and would be hard pressed to move Sanheim. Not a single other player on this team should be considered untouchable after that. |

Ghost needs to sit for awhile. He was god awful tonight again. Simple passes, couldn’t even take a pass. Basic hockey is a struggle |

The question I have is how do you settle on him and not the 10-15 other players not doing anything?
